The Women’s March was the largest single-day protest in U.S. history. It was a worldwide protest that happened on January 21,2017, just the day after President Donald Trump’s inauguration. The goal for the march was to “send a bold message to our new administration on their first day in office, and to the world that women’s rights are human rights”. It has since become an annual event.  Their mission”is to harness the political power of diverse women and their communities to create transformative social change.” On January 21,2017, I walked among thousands of New Yorkers to participate in this historical event and also captured some of the unforgettable moments of the day.
