New York City’s Pride March is an annual event held in June. It’s one of the largest Pride marches in the world for celebrating the LGBTQ community. The first march was part of the Christopher Street Liberation Day on June 28, 1970. It was the first anniversary of the Stonewall riots and the march started from Sheridan Square. These photos were taken on the 2017 Pride March, I remember it was a beautiful day and I got numerous hugs and smiles from people around me.
